Not one to rest on our laurels, we decided to enhance a customer service and
make it even easier and quicker for our customers to communicate with us. We
launched the new Help Desk Ticket and Knowledge Base system this week and
it's already proving to be a great way of managing queries and keeping a log
of our communication with our customers.

Customers and clients can still contact us
via email, post and
telephone, but they can also use our Help Desk Ticket System. Every message sent through the
Help Desk Portal, or through the email
support@myfrozenphoto.com is automatically assigned a support reference
and assigned to a member of our team. Customers can view their ticket status online
as well as receiving updates via email.
When our customers submit tickets through the Help Desk Portal, relevant knowledge base
articles and resources are automatically displayed as possible solutions.
These self-service resources can deliver answers to customers before they’ve
finished filling out the support ticket — saving time and typing!
It's also easy for our customers to share portal content on their
favorite social networks. With the click of the mouse, customers can share
any knowledge base article or news item to the social communication sites Twitter, Facebook and Digg.
We would love to get your feedback on this -

Our parent company
Event Data Systems was the contracted IT supplier for this massive bike
ride, with over 14,000 people taking part in
Pedal for Scotland and Sky Ride Glasgow! We were there on the day too,
to take media photographs for the organisers
Cycling Scotland,
for use in the Pedal for Scotland emarketing campaigns and website.

Starting off the historic cycle ride were the world record breaking
cyclist, Graeme Obree (The Flying Scotsman), Aggie MacKenzie (How Clean Is
Your House) and her sister Karen MacKenzie.

The Robert Wiseman Dairies
Vale of Atholl Pipe Band were at the finish line to greet the weary but
elated cyclists who completed their ride at Murrayfield Stadium
Edinburgh.

Joyous celebrations could be seen at the finish of the 51 mile and 100 mile
rides, with cyclists being clapped and cheered by the enthusiastic crowd,
who stood for hours to celebrate the achievements of all, despite the rain!
Our gallery of media photos will be available soon.
This
year was the 18th anniversary of the magnificent Liverpool Chester Liverpool
bike ride. The weather was glorious and over 2700 people cycled through the
Birkenhead Tunnel before choosing one of three routes to ride. The tunnel
was closed for the duration of the event, giving cyclists the only
opportunity in the year to cycle through this 3km tunnel.
The longest ride
was the CycloSportive tackling 91 miles of Liverpool and Chester countryside
and the beautiful Delamere Forest. The most popular route was the Liverpool
Chester Liverpool, a circular route covering 54 miles of mainly flat
countryside.
My Frozen Photo photographers were located around the route,
taking photographs throughout the day. The event is hoped to raise a record
amount of funds for the nominated charity
Claire House -
Children's Hospice.
Photographs from the Liverpool Chester Liverpool
bike ride are now live. Riders can search for their photographs by race number
and top / t-shirt colour.

our post-event email here.
We love the challenge of a triathlon shoot! Which inevitably ends up with
one of the photographers getting a little splashed, but produces some
fantastic shots!
Above is a photograph from the open water part of
the Allerthorpe Sprint Triathlon. The swim comprised of a 750m single lap of the lake, before exiting the water to transition to a 20km fast bike route, finished with a 5km run.

This was a new event for the 2011 season, which was set in the beautiful
location of Allerthorpe Lakeland Park. A flat, fast and scenic course proved a hit with runners of all abilities.
Photographs for the Allerthorpe Half Marathon can be searched by race number
and shirt top colour. Congratulations to all the participants, some of whom
had never run a half marathon before!

The Chatsworth 10k
and Fun Run (22nd May 2011) for Helen's Trust took place in the picturesque surroundings of the Chatsworth Estate.
Helen's Trust is a local charity which helps people with cancer and incurable illness, to stay in their own home.
We were delighted to be booked as the official event photographers. The rain poured down before the race, but just as the 1500 runners were taking to the start line the clouds cleared and sun shone down. We had four photographers at this event
so we were well placed to capture participants all round the course.

After the 10km run, the youngest participants some only 3 years old, put on their running shoes and fancy dress costume to complete the 3km fun run.
It was lovely to see many families running together and enjoying the exercise as well as raising money for
Helen's Trust.
To view the gallery for both events, click on the "find your photos" on the right hand side and select Chatsworth. You can search for your race photograph by selecting your race number or colour of your top / t-shirt.

This truly is a night to remember! Once again we were booked to take the
participant photographs at this night time event in aid of
The Christie, a
specialist NHS hospital treating cancer patients. The evening started with
fire dancing, street popping, cheerleading and live bands all playing to the
crowd of day-glow clad participants who had signed up to walk the 10km route
around the Salford Quays. The party atmosphere continued round the course
and finished with a big celebration at the end, as The Christie announced
they were on target to raise more than £33,000 through sponsorship.
Congratulations to everyone who took part and best wishes to those who are
currently at The Christie.

You can view the
Media Gallery photographs here that we supplied The Christie with for
their own promotional use.
On a glorious autumn morning, nearly 1500 people turned up for the
inaugural Bradford City Run. The run attracted participants from all over
the UK, including the Shetland Islands and also from overseas! Indeed the
winner of the Men's 10km run was Michael Del Monte from Canada with an
astonishing time of 1hr 13mins on an extremely hilly road course. The route
included a unique twist, with the hilliest section having a split timing
with participants racing to the top for the accolade King and Queen of the
Mountain. You can
view all the results here (pdf).

MyFrozenPhoto had three photographers at the run, one located on the King
and Queen of the Mountain section, one at Lister Park and of course one on
the finish line to capture the participants moment of glory or relief!
We also created a
gallery for the event organisers, which can be viewed here as well as
photographs being supplied to the press and select ones being used on the
Bradford City Run website.
A year on from
establishing MyFrozenPhoto, we are delighted to launch the
new look website. We love the grunge design, but what do you think? If you have any comments on the design or usability of the website, please
drop us a line.

We are delighted once again, to be working with The Christie Hospital to
provide photography services for their upcoming Night of Neon event. This is
a fun, party atmosphere, charity event with a 10km walk around Salford Quays
at nighttime. We support The Christie Hospital with a donation to their
charity for each image printed or downloaded.

Christie
It's the biggest cycle ride in Scotland, with just over 9000 cyclists
taking to the roads from Glasgow to Edinburgh. We were on the starting line to
capture
photographs of the event for the organisers.

There's not many
occasions when the Mersey Tunnel is closed to everyone
but cyclists, but this is exactly what happens on the annual
Liverpool-Chester-Liverpool bike ride. The ride starts off at the tunnel
entrance, before sweeping down under the Mersey and out into the countryside
to Chester. For the adventurous, a Sportive route was added for this year,
with a 51mile option and a shorter Wirral circuit added for all abilities.
Our photographers took up locations at the start, during the ride, at
Chester and also at the finish point. This meant some cyclists had their
photograph taken 6 or 7 times during the ride, giving them plenty of choice
and many taking the multi-download digital option.

How excited were we photographing the big cycling race of the season, the
winner of which would go in to the Tour de France wearing the GB winners
top! This proved to be a busy weekend for MyFrozenPhoto as we were
contracted to take the participant photographs of the National CycloSportive
happening the day before on the same route, as well as the professionals
racing in the National Champs. see the galleries here:

The National Elite Series race never fails to entertain and once again
drew many of the best British riders. Olympic Gold-medalists and World
Champions Chris Newton, Rob Hayles and Ed Clancy took to the start
line in the Elite race, along with local favourite Ian Wilkinson and Paul
Oldham. We were contracted by the organisers for a
media gallery, of what was a battle right to the finish line!
